Our Founder

Eyerusalem Tadese

Eyerusalem Tadese is the founder of The Climb Organization, a grassroots initiative dedicated to supporting youth through mentorship, healing, and community. With a strong desire to create safe spaces where young people—especially Black children and teens—can process grief, discover their identity, and grow in their purpose, Eyerusalem brings both personal experience and compassionate leadership to her work.

Having lost both parents by the age of 20, and working with and learning from many youth throughout the years, Eyerusalem understands the challenges many young people face and most importantly, what is needed for youth from all areas to thrive. Her lived experience inspired the creation of The Climb Organization—a mentorship and support initiative designed to walk with youth who may feel overlooked, unsupported, or alone.

She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary and is passionate about pursuing further studies in public health, with the goal of contributing to health policy within the Canadian government.
