4/5/2011 – Gave a presentation on life as an American citizen with disabilities:

-how the country is shutting the multiple disabled citizens out of society

-the facts about Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

-some of the nation's views about our citizens with disabilities

-the  facts on the healthcare system with dealing with the disabled

- her personal experiences as an American citizen

- prove without a doubt that the disabled and in particular the severely disabled can have a full, successful, joyful, busy and meaningful life, if they are given a real chance

-what you can do as caring individuals to make the world a better place to live

3/2010 and 2/28/2011 – Guest Speaker for the 8th Grade Middle School Program at Notre Dame of MT Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Discussed "as Catholics, why we should respect everyone’s dignity and life.

 

 

1/2010 – Guest Speaker for the Catholics Returning Home Program at Notre Dame of MT Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, NJ. Discussed "why God would let a child suffer".

 

12/2007 – Guest Speaker for the Level Two Confirmation Candidates at Notre Dame of MT Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Discussed "as Catholics, why we should respect all life and how the 'right to die'  movement will take our human rights as American citizens completely away, if this movement isn’t brought to a halt and instructed how we can do the duty as Catholics to promote pro-life out in the world".

 Communion Breakfastat the Basking Ridge Country Club in New Jersey, for young children and their families, hosted by the Parcells Council of the Chatham Township Knights of Columbus. Discussed "why children always should pursue their dreams, no matter what people might say, or how people might mock them, or what setbacks they might have on the way".

 

11/2005 – Keynote Speaker for a speaking event hosted by the Morris County Right to Life at Notre Dame Church of MT. Carmel in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey.Discussed "why the nation has to change the laws and the way this country thinks of the disabled, especially the severely disabled, so this nation won’t let the Terri Schiavo’s appalling death happen to someone else again".

 

 

10/2000 – One of the Guest Speakers with Tony Randall and Jerome Hines, for a Charity Gala for the Children's EmergencyMedical Fund of New Jersey at the West Orange Country Club. Discussed "how imperative to children to have dreams and how important adults give them opportunities to live their dreams out". 

 

4/2000 –  Keynote Speaker at the University of Notre Dame during their first Disabilities Awareness Week. Discussed "my experiences of being the first multiple-disabled student at the university".

 

 

11/1999 - Hosted a workshop at the Kessler Institute in West Orange, New Jersey. Discussed "my vision and life story with others just beginning their journey down the road with a disability".

 

10/1999 – Guest Speaker for a game of “Buddy Ball,”(soccer for disabled children) in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Discussed "how great it is to pursue your dreams".  

 

 10/1999 – Keynote Speaker for a fundraiser for an accessible bus for West Orange, New Jersey. The presentation was on "the problems finding accessible transportation for people who are in wheelchairs, even in the post Americans with Disabilities Act".

 

 7/1999 – Spoke on WJRZ radio, a Jersey Shore radio station. This was an opportunity to outlinemy goals and aspirations regarding the national pageant. Had an opportunity to discuss "the need for appropriate accommodations at the national pageant for people who have a speech disability".
